Ritz Deli Games
Chum Chum Blast
I joined the team to help build a new world for Chum Chum Blast. I refined the initial concept and led the art direction across all areas of the game—including environments, game pieces, characters, and UI. I worked closely with a talented team of 2D artists, 3D artists and animators to expand the game's world, creating charming environments and booster characters for players to discover and unlock.
Character Design
My first task after joining Ritz Deli Games was to design a series of characters to serve as boosters—later known as the Chum Chums. It was a fun challenge to explore different body proportions and find the right fit for the UI. Collaborating with the team to understand the needs and purpose of these special characters was a great experience, and it helped shape their role in the overall game design.

Zones
Our Creative Director, Ash Huang, established the initial pipeline for creating the zones. When I took over the project, I began guiding our talented 2D artists—Anastasia Adamovich, Amanda Sher, Hamed, and Wilma Lai—as we continued developing fun, imaginative concepts and final renders. Our 3D artist, Maxine Tu, brought those ideas to life beautifully, capturing every detail and delivering high-quality assets that perfectly matched the game’s style.
I'm truly grateful to have worked with such an amazing and dedicated team.

UI
I created these UI concepts for Chum Chum Blast, focusing on a warm, inviting tone with food-inspired visuals to match the game's theme. These early concepts helped set the visual direction, which was further developed and refined by our talented UI designers, Kiki and Lissa. I provided art support during this process to ensure consistency and cohesion across the game's interface.

Game Pieces
I enjoyed designing the game blockers for this project. After receiving the design documents from the game designers, game designer Nico and I brainstormed how to translate gameplay mechanics into visual game pieces that aligned with the game’s theme. It was a fun and rewarding creative process.

Features
I worked with UI/UX designers Csaba Felveg, Kiki Ho, and Lissa Capeleto to bring several fun features to life. For the Puzzle feature, we launched one to two puzzles each month. I collaborated with 2D artists to recreate iconic paintings, swapping in our Chum Chum characters. It was a playful challenge, and always a pleasure to see the team’s great ideas turn into fantastic final results.
